Come to 4th (last of this semester's) event of CineCircle, with an introductory note and film screening:
Date: Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 18.00
Place: D-001
CineCircle is an in-house initiative of CEU’s Visual Studies Platform, and it is inviting you now to its 4th meeting. CineCircle wants to bring students together to present, watch and (perhaps) discuss important, intriguing, impactful, impressive feature films, documentaries, activist videos, classics and visual experiments in an informal setting.
CineCircle starts off as a screening program, curated by Ulrich Meurer, visiting professor of media and film theory at VSP – but first and foremost, it provides a platform for interested students to step in and suggest or introduce films that everyone should see!
Each term focuses on a specific subject. For the fall term 2024/25, the topic is social, private, political, personal, academic, economic, cultural PROTEST. When you are interested to actively take part in shaping the program, contact meureru@ceu.edu .
If you would like to receive regular information about forthcoming screenings, please sign up to our mailing list here.
We look forward to your suggestions and ideas for Winter semester's screenings.
