CEU DOCS 2026: Call for Submissions
The Visual Studies Platform and CEU Library Media Hub are pleased to announce a call for submissions for films to screen as part of CEU DOCS 2026, our year-end celebration & showcase of student films. This year’s event will take place on May 27th at 18:00 at the Blickle Cinema in the Belvedere 21 Museum, and will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers. In addition, a slideshow of photos from CEU's annual photo exhibition will be shown prior to the event and during the introduction. The event is open to the public and promoted to the CEU community and on the Belvedere’s website. The event regularly draws over 120 attendees.
Guidelines:
- Films produced as part of a CEU course, BA or MA, or thesis/capstone project are eligible to be submitted.
- The student submitting the project should be a principal team member, and should have completed it for course credit.
- Films should be 9 minutes or less, except for thesis/capstone projects.
- A panel of faculty will select approximately 70 minutes of projects to screen.
The deadline to submit is April 23rd, end of day.
