Safe Journey Welcome Back - Invitation to Exhibition Opening of Magda Kopanska

Safe Journey Welcome Back is an art book and a collection of photographs dedicated to Polish workers of Icelandic tourism. The publication is an effect of an ethnographic fieldwork Magda Kopanska conducted in Iceland in summer 2024, during which she worked as a night receptionist and used photography to elucidate the work conditions and life of young migrant workers. The project is concerned with the experience of everyday environment and the sense of temporalities of young Poles employed in Icelandic tourism.
